6, 2002 - the New York State Frisbee Championships were held as part
of Warwick, New York's annual Apple Fest. It was a freestyle competition
for humans, not dogs.... can you imagine that? I was looking forward to
seeing a human run and catch a Frisbee in it's mouth, but that isn't what they
do.
I attended with my canine Frisbee
friend Jewel to perform some canine Frisbee demos in between the human
competitors' performances. It was a lot of fun and the fans seemed to
really enjoy it.
