2005 Middletown Skyhoundz Canine Disc Championships

October 15, 2005 - Stevenson Park, Middletown, New Jersey.......The week of record rainfall finally ended in the early morning hours so at 6:30 AM we announced that it would be "all systems go" for the fourth annual Yankee Flyers Dog & Disc Club's annual Middletown, NJ Canine Disc competition.

The weather was perfect, the sun came out, temp in the 70's and just enough wind to make things interesting. The field, despite more than a week of steady rain, was in great shape, no puddles or mud.

We had a great time and made a lot of new friends, some who competed for their first time. Everyone had a great time and the spectators really got to see the fur fly in Middletown.
