Who are the Lakewood BlueClaws you may ask????  The Lakewood BlueClaws are the class-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies  based in Lakewood, New Jersey. 

We enjoy meeting the fans as we walk along the concession stands and particularly at the Rat Trap in center field.  I take it as my personal duty to make sure that there aren't any hamburgers, hot dogs or even popcorn on the ground going to waste.... but why is there always popcorn and so few burgers?   Come on out to cheer for us and say "hello".  Oh, you might enjoy the game too!

FirstEnergy Park is beautiful and running on the grass is great!  We usually perform our frisbee demos before the games start and between an inning or two during the games.  We even get to go through the dugout with the BlueClaws. That's cool!  

BlueClaws beat the Alley Cats

On August 19th (2003) my Frisbee buddy Bear and I just had to go to the BlueClaw game to assist them in beating the Charleston Alley Cats, which they did.  I think that for the past three years the BlueClaws have won every game at which we've performed (about eight in all).   As always, we mingled with the fans and had a wonderful time.

About our first ever BlueClaw performance
On Tuesday, May 29th, 2001 my friend Bear (Bear's an Aussie) and I performed frisbeedog demonstrations at our first Lakewood BlueClaws baseball game.  

After that first game against the Asheville Tourists we went to 3 more games in 2001, finally closing the season on Labor Day, September 3, 2001.  (click on the link for some photos of that day).  In  2002, we performed at two games.  Bear couldn't make it on July 15, 2003 so I went to the game by myself but met a whole bunch of really nice people while there.  On August 19th both Bear and I are coming again so why not come out and see us?!?
